About The Position

The Development Operations Manager ensures that America On Tech’s fundraising systems, data, and processes operate efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with organizational goals. This role is responsible for Salesforce management, grant administration, reporting, and event data integration, enabling the Development team to work effectively and scale fundraising performance.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in fundraising operations, CRM management, or development administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce or similar donor management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • SYSTEMS AND DATA MANAGEMENT
  • Maintain Salesforce accuracy across all donor, sponsor, and grant records.
  • Ensure timely entry of new leads shared by AOT leadership and maintain a clean, comprehensive database to support cultivation and stewardship efforts.
  • Build dashboards and revenue tracking reports to monitor performance and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile gifts and ensure accurate revenue reporting.
  • GRANTS ADMINISTRATION
  • Manage the administrative side of the grants process, including downloading application questions into editable formats, compiling required attachments (financials, 501(c)(3), budgets, etc.), and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Track and manage all application and reporting deadlines.
  • Upload and link all executed grant agreements to the appropriate funder records in Salesforce.
  • Support the Vice President of Development in maintaining a consistent cadence of institutional reporting and stewardship.
  • EVENT AND ENGAGEMENT INTEGRATION
  • Collaborate with the Special Events Contractor and Programs team to build and track pipelines for tailored outreach related to regional cultivation events, Elevated Demo Days, IDA sponsorship, and individual giving campaigns.
  • Lead summer engagement planning in coordination with Programs to align cultivation activities with virtual Career Days and guest speaker opportunities that connect donors and corporate partners with AOT students.
  • Support the coordination and tracking of event-related sponsorship data and donor follow-up.
