About The Position

We are currently looking for a Developmental and Behavioral Support Manager to fill a vacant position in the Corporate Office located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The basic function of this position is develop and implement coordinated service delivery plans for children with disabilities, aligned with Head Start Program Performance Standards, ECMHSP mandates, and federal laws, while addressing the needs of migrant farmworker families. Design mental health service plans for children, families. Provide leadership, training, and technical assistance to programs, supporting implementation and maintaining data collection systems to track service effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other relevant legislation
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Computer skills including the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to analyze, organize and distribute information
  • Bachelor’s in early childhood education, Special Education, Mental Health, or related field
  • 5 years’ experience providing T/TA, working with infants and young children with disabilities and establishing interagency collaborative agreements
  • Head Start and/or Nonprofit experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the agricultural worker culture and lifestyle
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in early childhood education, Special Education, Mental Health, or related field
  • 3 years’ experience providing T/TA, working with infants and young children with disabilities and establishing interagency collaborative agreements
  • Head Start and/or Nonprofit experience preferred
