MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a DevOps Engineer Associate, you'll manage security and automation of the complete software development lifecycle for operational cyber capabilities and tools. Maintains deployed capabilities/tools within customer/operational networks. Maintains deployed capabilities/tools within customer/operational networks. Can lead a DevSecOps team. Collaborate with with other teams for integrations of various cyber tools and deployment pipelines. Ensure customer success through consistent and stable deployments. Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bash and other tooling. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation The DevOps Engineer must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Technical skills: Professional experience writing software and debugging in any of the following languages (combined): Python, C/C++, Rust, Python, Perl, JavaScript, TypeScript Professional experience in Linux build environments Professional experience configuring pipelines in either Gitlab, Github or Jenkins Security clearance level: The ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly US citizenship required Role requirements: Professional Experience deploying and monitoring containerized software (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry) Experience mentoring Technical staff on DevOps concepts Experience with OCO a plus Experience deploying software to virtualized Environments (VMWare, Azure, AWS) GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. The likely salary range for this position is $74,800 - $101,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
