About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems HWIL frameworks with Agile development, Security, and System Administration teams to create and advance solutions for DevSecOps. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Requirements

DevOps or software automation
Linux (RHEL or CentOS), Windows servers and workstations including troubleshooting
Agile development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
System scripting using bash, Python, PowerShell, or batch, etc.
Writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or Bamboo
Technical support, training, and guidance on DevSecOps and software lifecycle tools, e.g., GitLab, Nexus, or CI tools
Docker or containerization
Infrastructure-as-Code or Platform Engineering
Controlling third-party software (COTS, GOTS, and FOSS) to ensure efficient storage and reuse
Strong collaboration skills
Version control tools, e.g., Git
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience; OR Master’s degree with 3 years professional experience; OR PhD with no experience
