About The Position

As a Diagnostic Sonographer with ProMedica Physicians, you will perform a variety of procedures to help a physician diagnose and treat patients. You will perform echocardiography 2D, M-Mode, color flow Doppler studies and document any important information. You will prepare patients for exams and explain procedures. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS or must be registry eligible.
• Registry eligible sonographers must successfully complete all requirements within 6 months of hire date. If this is not completed, the employee will be terminated.
• BLS
