About The Position
Dialysis Technician – Correctional facility cTrace Solutions is seeking a Dialysis Technician in Orient, Ohio. This role offers competitive pay, weekly compensation, and Sign on bonus Location: Orient, OHCompensation: $28 per hour (DOE) plus $200 Sign-On BonusSchedule:v6:15 am- 2:15 pm Days off will be every Sunday and EITHER Tues, or Wed. (second day off will be set during orientation.) Contract length: 6 months (High likelihood of extension)
Requirements
- MUST have DT certification in the state of Ohio
- MUST hold a current CPR Certification
- MUST be authorized to work in the US without Sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Obtains and documents pre-dialysis vital signs to include weight and temperature.
- Inspects patient’s dialysis access and inserts needed and initiates dialysis according to unit protocol and patient prescription
- Prepares dialysate according to established procedures and patient’s prescription
- Measures, calculates and adjusts blood flow rates according to established protocols and prescription
- Administers anticoagulant according to unit protocols and prescription
- Changes fluid removal rate, patient position, and administers Normal Saline as directed by RN, ALP order or unit protocol
