About The Position

A Die Segment Inspector is responsible for performing all necessary in-process and final inspections, maintaining the necessary records for each order, as well as packaging of die segments prior to shipment. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and possesses strong analytical and communication skills

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other related engineering requirements with an emphasis on GD&T.
• Possess strong working knowledge of various measurement tools, such as but not limited to micrometers, calipers, gauges, profilometers, CMMs, measurement arms, and indicators .
• Strong communication and organization skills, a good attendance record, and the ability to manage your time with little supervision are a must
• Must have strong working knowledge of QMS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections to all Die Segments to assure conformance to the print and assure proper form, fit, and function.
• Document all aspects of the inspection process. This includes filling out forms, generating CMM reports, taking pictures, entering data electronically, uploading documents to the local server, and sending notifications about any issues that are noted .
• Creating and submitting non-conformance reports .
• Creating and issuing deviation requests.
• Monitoring and controlling test equipment .
• Etch products with information specified in the engineering drawing in support of the production department.
