Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Post-secondary education preferred, or related Tool & Die Setter experience in a Stamping facility preferred

Responsibilities

Complete set-up responsibility (i.e. new die set-up information)
Pre-staging of all set-up (tools, dies, chutes, clamping required, transfer fingers, grippers, Julian dates)
Load coils onto the mandrel and feed through the straightener and into the die
Unload coil truck and log coils into the system / manage coil inventory
Assist Team Members when coils need rebranding and taken off the press
Establish and maintain communication with other team members and support departments
Initiate and sustain 5S opportunities
Assume Press Team Leader and/or Press Operator duties when required
Supply tool room with necessary dies
Continually organize the die and coil storage area
Support and assist operations during changeovers.
Perform other duties as required.
