Requirements

  • Must have hands-on Diesel Engine experience.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the function of each part of a vehicle.
  • Must use hand tools, air tools, and torches.
  • Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently.
  • Subject to intense physical labor and repetitive lifting.
  • Must be able to lift at least 75lbs.
  • Must be able to work outside in various types of weather.
  • Works with hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.
  • Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.
  • Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently use the required equipment and tools for Diesel Engine Prep, Inspection, and Disassembly.
  • Recognize acceptable and defective parts and complete the process as appropriate.
  • Abide by the Company Policies such as attendance, safety, processes, teamwork, training, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
