We have an opening for an experienced 1st shift Diesel Engine Technician/Mechanic for our Truck Shop at our Scanlon, MN location. We are looking for someone with (3-5 plus years of experience) an expertise working with diesel engines, detail oriented, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities

  • Performs repair on diesel truck engines.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
  • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
  • Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
  • Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
