The Diesel Mechanic Road Technician is a technician who preferably has experience in the heavy equipment industry. This person will be required to have mechanical expertise, including diesel, to support the needs of the branch in a professional, safe, and timely manner. You will be performing maintenance services, including repairs for diesel-run equipment. You will be performing maintenance services, including repairs on the road and in the shop. Pay Range: $20.00 - $39.00/Hourly Pay Range is commensurate with experience and negotiable

Requirements

  • Experience as a Diesel Technician in construction or agricultural equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem-solve effectively
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using computer-based diagnostic tools and service software
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment.
  • Ability to work overtime, including flexible hours.
  • Utilize technical manuals, job orders, and your own expertise to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections and follow proper repair procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Test drive equipment to verify repairs.
  • Develop strong customer relationships through professional service.
  • Attend ongoing technical training sessions.
  • Document all service and warranty work accurately.
