About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First-Shift Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of diesel engines and related components, as well as the ability to effectively diagnose and repair a variety of diesel-powered equipment. This position offers competitive compensation up to $110,000 annually for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on diesel engines, heavy trucks, and other diesel-powered equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, transmission systems, and other mechanical components.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess problem areas and formulate viable repair solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including data entry into company systems.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks adhere to industry standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and company guidelines.
