Dohrn is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic at our Peru, IL Terminal. Hours: 2nd Shift Available - 4 Day Work Week! Pay: Up to $37.47/Hour with ASE incentives Training available for incentives 12 months to Top Scale! Benefits: Health / Vision / Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more. Position Summary: Safely and efficiently maintain Dohrn fleet trailers.

Requirements

A minimum age of 18
High School completion or equivalent
Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Must pass a NON-Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and functional screen NOTE: CDL-qualified mechanics will be subject to a DOT physical examination
Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen; Dohrn Transfer must receive a negative result
Experience is preferred
Federal inspection certifications are preferred
Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair and maintenance of a variety of automotive and mechanical equipment is required
Must have previous experience maintaining detailed and routine record keeping
Manual dexterity required
Must possess knowledge of occupational hazards & standard safety precautions
Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to communicate to both internal and external customers
Ability to work in a team as well as individually
Excellent attendance
