About The Position
San Jacinto Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and enjoys supporting residents through quality meal service and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and cookware
- Monitor and document dish machine temperatures to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Prepare breakfast trays and fresh juices for residents
- Serve meals in a courteous, respectful, and compassionate manner
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as buttering bread, pouring beverages, and plating snacks
- Remove trash and maintain sanitation throughout the department
- Sweep, mop, and assist with stocking groceries and supplies
- Observe residents during meal service and report any concerns to supervisory staff
