About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals in accordance with specific dietary guidelines, while ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will work within our culinary team to provide high-quality food service in a clean and positive environment. PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals following standardized recipes and planned menus that adhere to specific dietary requirements and nutritional standards.
  • Follow strict food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen area.
  • Assist with daily food preparation, including chopping, washing, and assembling ingredients for meals.
  • Monitor and record food and storage temperatures to maintain quality and safety.
  • Help maintain inventory of food and supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
  • Ensure timely and accurate food preparation and attractive plate presentation for all meals.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team and management to accommodate any special dietary needs or preferences.
