Job Summary The Digital Experience (DEX) Intern will support initiatives that improve how Vistra employees and contractors interact with digital tools, systems, and processes across the enterprise. This role blends people, process, and technology — helping ensure our employees and contractors have a seamless, engaging, and productive digital experience. You’ll work closely with teams in IT, Organizational Change Management (OCM), HR, and Communications to understand employee needs, map business processes, and support experience improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable engaging with employees at all levels.
  • Interest in the intersection of people, process, and technology.
  • Ability to visualize and document workflows using tools such as Mural, Visio, or PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing multiple tasks.
  • Curious mindset with a passion for improving how people work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or coursework in business analysis, process improvement, or change management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in documenting and mapping current employee workflows and digital touchpoints to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support data collection and analysis through surveys, interviews, and focus groups to capture employee feedback on digital experiences.
  • Help develop communications, visuals, and presentations to share project updates, insights, and new digital capabilities.
  • Partner with OCM and DEX teams to create change enablement materials (FAQs, job aids, user guides, etc.).
  • Track and organize project deliverables, ensuring alignment between IT, business, and end-user needs.
  • Support testing and feedback collection for new tools or process changes before rollout.
  • Assist with benchmarking and best-practice research for digital employee experience improvements.
