About The Position

Join our cross-disciplinary team responsible for developing tactical radio hardware. These programs help to ensure robust and secure communications for the warfighter. This role includes schematic design and layout of hardware with ARM processors and microcontrollers, DDR RAM (DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4) memory interfaces, and digital interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, SDIO).

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Schematic capture and layout design of digital subsystems and components for Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
  • Use of lab test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment, experience designing PCBs/PWBs using Siemens Xpedition or similar tools.
  • An understanding of the hardware development process throughout the lifecycle of a program, including design for manufacturing and design for test.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Xpedition or similar tools for schematic entry, constraint definition, and signal integrity/power integrity analysis.
  • Experience designing PCBs/PWBs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces.
