The Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist thrives on crafting compelling content, building brand narratives, and driving meaningful engagement across channels. This role blends content strategy with campaign execution and messaging, supporting lead generation, educational initiatives, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate brings strong writing skills, a deep understanding of customer behavior, and a passion for connecting with audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to support lead acquisition, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
  • Write and produce original content for a range of platforms including blog posts, newsletters, educational materials, emails, and social media.
  • Lead creation of new educational resources and downloadable lead-gen content.
  • Define and refine brand voice across all touchpoints to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Create internal and external communication plans that align with company goals and campaigns.
  • Write and distribute press releases to promote key company updates and achievements.
  • Train internal teams on marketing and branding principles to support brand consistency across departments.
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation.
  • Support email marketing initiatives through copywriting and campaign coordination.
  • Manage newsletter development, content creation, and distribution.
  • Oversee day-to-day social media activity and long-term strategy across platforms.
  • Create and manage SEO-driven content strategies to support website traffic and lead acquisition goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of virtual and in-person marketing events.
  • Manage webinar strategy, including content planning, promotion, and follow-up engagement.
  • Collaborate with graphic design partners to create engaging visuals that align with campaign goals.
  • Develop marketing presentations and pitch decks for internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content development, or communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or a similar field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of content examples.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, digital engagement strategies, and lead nurturing.
  • Experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient with email marketing platforms, social media tools, and CMS platforms.
  • Creative thinker with excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with design teams and/or managing outsourced creative work.
