About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager is the individual contributor responsible for planning and managing the bank's digital channels and content to achieve the bank's stated goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain the bank's digital channels, including HancockWhitney.com, and optimize the user's digital experience.
  • Planning and enhancing the bank's digital marketing channels, including HancockWhitney.com, SEO/SEM, Google Business Listings and Insights Blog.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing channels and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spending and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies in regard to digital marketing.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital content that engages, informs and motivates.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of features and benefits of financial products offered to the segment.
  • Contribute to the definition and refinement of client segment positioning strategies.
  • Contribute input and ideas to help achieve segment marketing goals and program ROI.
  • Help define and update marketing plans for specific marketing channels.
  • Generate ideas for future improvement based on discussion with stakeholders and results from previous channel tracking.
  • Ensure that marketing programs adhere to brand standards and contribute to building brand equity in addition to short term sales.
  • Coordinate with appropriate internal and external centers of excellence to execute campaigns and programs.
  • Use internal and external resources to understand the impact of marketing programs on the entire buying funnel down to incremental sales, revenue, and ROI.
  • Build relationships across the company to maintain and enhance high standards of internal reputation.
  • Actively seeks to learn about new trends and opportunities in order to build a knowledge base to prepare for future thought leadership.
  • Follow established department policies, procedures, and workflow practices.
  • Serve as a first line of defense in implementing appropriate risk controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline (or equivalent); other degrees considered if the candidate has strongly demonstrated marketing or sales results.
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant accountable marketing disciplines such as customer marketing, segment marketing, database marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing (at least 3 years, preferably in increasing levels of responsibility).
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, paid search, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Quantified results from marketing programs and campaigns created and managed.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills including proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Demonstrated interest in building a knowledge base and active curiosity about what drives customer and business value.
  • Experience working for or with a publicly traded company.
  • Regulated industry (i.e. Financial Services, Healthcare, Gaming, etc.) experience strongly preferred, but not required.
