About the position

Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Digital Marketing Manager. This role will develop, manage, and execute Trinity Metro's content strategy across channels, including but not limited to social media (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Nextdoor), paid social campaigns, e-mail marketing newsletters and campaigns, podcast, and promotional landing pages. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, creative individual who excels at time management and juggling between different projects at the same time. This position demands flexibility, high attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be self-motivated and be able to complete job requirements with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Trinity Metro's content calendar to develop omnichannel content that is aligned with Trinity Metro's content strategy.
  • Develop content, including assets (photos, videos, graphics), that is aligned with Trinity Metro's voice and brand standards for the following social channels: Landing Pages, Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Nextdoor.
  • Schedule and distribute social media content.
  • Use social media analytics tools to develop a monthly social media audit and report.
  • Lead development and implementation of virtual outreach efforts such as live streams, webinars, and instructional videos, including planning logistics, running tests, scheduling guests, developing a schedule, writing scripts, executing, and online and offline moderation.
  • Plan and place paid social media campaigns, evaluate performance, and put together a report for leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Manage weekly budget for social media campaigns.
  • Plan and develop bi-weekly marketing newsletter, including working with team members and across departments to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date, writing and creating assets (photos/graphics) for newsletter, scheduling, distribution and performance reporting.
  • Work with the marketing and planning team to put together a monthly stakeholder performance bulletin, including working with the planning department to get accurate and up-to-date ridership and on-time performance data, working with a graphic designer to update the newsletter graphic, updating content on the e-mail newsletter, updating content on the landing page of the website, distribution, and performance reporting.
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to develop and distribute social and e-mail content related to rider alerts and service disruptions, including writing content, developing assets or working with a graphic designer to create assets, scheduling and distributing, and reporting.
  • Work with the VP of Marketing and Communications to develop stakeholder newsletters as needed, including writing and editing content, developing assets, scheduling and distribution, and reporting.
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to develop social and e-mail marketing campaigns that support departmental promotions and service launches, including writing and editing content, developing assets, scheduling and distribution, and reporting.
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to assist in the development of digital toolkits to promote Trinity Metro services.
  • Work with the director of marketing to provide recommendations regarding digital marketing campaigns managed by the marketing agency.
  • Manage podcast, including content creation, guest scheduling, hosting, final production, and distribution.
  • Translate marketing communications to Spanish as needed. Support marketing and communications teams with content translations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills across various formats.
  • Experience with tools such as Sked, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Nextdoor, and Microsoft Teams/Planner.
  • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to support occasional events or communications outside of regular business hours.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
