About the position

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Kingston Resorts, you will be a part of developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and taking part in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. In addition, this position will play a major role in promoting the property's recent $65 million renovation to both the Hilton and Embassy Suites to include guestrooms, food and beverage outlets, pool and waterparks, plus new and improved event spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager and Corporate Digital Marketing Team to develop social media strategies for multiple properties at KRC and beyond that reflect the hotel's brand, target audience, and work towards KPIs
  • Assist in the design and distribution of marketing collateral, both print and electronic, including but not limited to: renovated-related materials, food & beverage promotional materials and wedding/meeting brochures
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand priorities (sales, ecommerce, PR, operations) in order to effectively communicate them to social media audiences
  • Translate marketing initiatives into social and email-friendly campaigns, managing content production from concept to execution in conjunction with Senior Marketing Manager and Director of Digital Marketing
  • Directly manage the upkeep of multiple social media channels and editorial calendars, ensuring a regular publishing cadence, well-curated visuals, and alignment with strategy
  • Oversee KRC's Community Management on all social platforms and manage interactions with the public; communicating with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Engage with relevant third-party content, including reposting photos and responding to guest questions and concerns
  • Stay abreast of social media changes, competitor performance, and industry trends
  • Interface with agencies including PR and Digital Marketing ensuring goals are met
  • Learn and utilize multiple platforms to create and manage content, across CMS (including WordPress, Planoly, and Revinate)
  • Vet influencers and coordinate social media partnership opportunities to advance brand reputation and amplification
  • Write digital marketing content as needed for non-social applications (e.g. editorial/blog pieces, marketing collateral)
  • Support Marketing Team as a whole during KRC based events and promotional weekends
  • Complete month-end reporting for social media channels as requested by corporate team
  • Participate and assist as needed for any and all event marketing projects conducted at Kingston Resorts.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of marketing communication mediums to include but not limited to traditional, digital, and social channels
  • Excellent written skills sufficient to produce internal/external sales and marketing communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different departments simultaneously to achieve deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in creative platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva (preferred)
  • Ability to navigate CMS platforms (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher & Outlook)
  • Social platforms and project-based systems such as Sprout Social
  • Extensive knowledge of property facilities, meeting space and services
  • Excellent spoken and presentation skills
  • Effective active listener
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
