About The Position

Whisper is a leading global production company, specialising in sports, unscripted and branded entertainment. Our diverse team of over 285 international employees produce top-level sports such as Formula One, UEFA and The Paralympics, as well as branded content, prime time documentaries, and entertainment quiz shows for a raft of broadcasters. Whisper’s creativity and storytelling are BAFTA-winning and Emmy International-nominated. It is also a Sunday Times Best Places to Work. We are seeking creative, confident and bold Digital Producers who have a superb skill set and the ability and experience to manage complex production plans across a sporting calendar. We want producers with good shooting skills across Sony A7S, FX3 and FX6 cameras, gimbals, and the ability to plan and execute creative content production for long-form YouTube content. Working with the client, with sports organisations, contributors and on-screen talent. You will have first-rate people skills and the ability to operate in a team and individually. You’ll also have the skills to edit your rushes into entertaining and engaging YouTube pieces on Adobe Premiere Pro, keeping audiences hooked throughout. Working alongside the social lead and social media managers, you will help drive the development of our client’s video content to new levels. This will be content that people stop their thumbs on, talk about and share. Whisper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We welcome and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, communities, and lived experiences. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. What we’re looking for: Individuals with a track record of making brilliant digital and social content for a major brand, preferably in sport. Someone with creative production skills who understands how to work with top-level sports talent and has the people skills to get the best out of contributors. A videographer confident in shooting on a variety of cameras who can structure a shoot day to capture enough material to create strong 8–10-minute YouTube videos with a stand-out thumbnail and hook, engaging narrative throughout, and the technical ability to deliver on the shoot plan. An independent editor, who can see through their creative ideas to delivery, to a standard worthy of a premium YouTube sports property. An organised shoot planner who can manage a changing schedule and keep on top of communications in a coherent and reliable manner. As well as the Long-Form creativity, we are also looking for: A creative person who can take a 10-minute slot with two athletes and turn it into shareable short-form cross-platform content for social media. A deep understanding of how our access can translate into standout social media content which performs in its own right on the platform and also drives viewers to our YouTube channel. Your Mission: To make digital and social content that is considered the best that their sport has ever seen, for a new client. To be the creative force behind all our self-shot content. You should be the confident voice in the room that pushes the team and the client to try new things. Be bold and try new things. If those things don’t work, be confident enough to learn from the feedback and get better. Please note that responsibilities may be amended, added to, or removed to reflect the changing needs of the production or organisation.
