About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Photo Digital Technician who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and brings both strong technical expertise and hands-on studio support skills. Success in this role means delivering highly accurate, efficient, and automated digital workflows; maintaining Quince naming conventions and upload standards at a 97% or higher accuracy rate; and supporting photographers and production teams through seamless on-set assistance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring image quality, operational efficiency, and consistency across all Quince photography assets. This role is required to be onsite 5-days in San Francisco.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Digital Technician in a professional photography environment that includes ecommerce, Home, fashion, and high-volume photography environments
  • Excellent technical skills with a proven ability to automate and optimize digital workflows
  • Advanced proficiency in Capture One and Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of Canon camera systems, tethering hardware, and Pro-foto studio lighting
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Tether cameras and manage image capture during studio and on-location shoots
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for file naming, organization, backups, and delivery
  • Maintain and enforce Quince file naming conventions with a target accuracy of 97% or higher
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and error-free file uploads with a 97% or higher on-time upload rate
  • Monitor image quality for focus, exposure, color, and consistency during capture
  • Manage on-set backups and ensure data integrity throughout the shoot
  • Prepare, package, and deliver files for post-production and archiving
  • Assist the photographer during shoots with technical and creative support
  • Set up, adjust, and break down lighting equipment, modifiers, and stands
  • Move and arrange furniture, props, and set elements as needed
  • Prep the studio before shoots and handle breakdown afterward
  • Troubleshoot cameras, computers, tethering systems, and lighting issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and lead studio efficiencies
  • Adhere to studio policies, industry best practices, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with producers, stylists, and crew to keep shoots running smoothly
