About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Digital Transformation Officer for the Space Force Range contract. Position Summary: The Digital Transformation Officer drives efficiency and strategic advancement by evolving the SFRC contract and organization into the digital age. Their focus is on creating new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes.

Requirements

Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related area
10+ years’ relevant leadership
Experience managing multiple cross-functional teams/projects
Strategic business planning experience that incorporates an enterprise’s vision and direction
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple projects on time and within budget and to assess the scope, potential impact of an issue/opportunity, and return on investment of solution
Ability to influence others and identify and mobilize employees to support continuous change improvement
Ability to develop and manage employee, community, and vendor relationships in support of organizational strategies
Experience in decentralized and diverse business environments
Secret Clearance
Support of a secure or military installation preferred; ability to run parallel operations in a hybrid Cloud/On Prem environment

Responsibilities

Manage a team of personnel performing internal projects and upgrades to support digital transformation initiatives, including but not limited to cloud transition and development of a digital ecosystem spanning internal tools and processes.
Responsible for fully integrating digital initiatives into the strategic-planning process, including leadership commitment and resource allocation.
Works with teams across the contract to generate innovative digital solutions for products, services, processes, and range/spaceport customer experiences.
Owns and monitors the digital innovation project portfolio.
Identifies new tools and methodologies (e.g., AI/ML, digital engineering) that can support and enhance our solutions.
