The National WWII Museum is currently seeking a Digital Transformation Project Manager. The Digital Transformation Project Manager will work closely under the leadership of the Associate Vice President of Web Development and Digital Strategy to ensure the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of the Museum’s multifaceted digital transformation initiative. With a goal of becoming the most accessible source for trusted knowledge on the American experience in World War II, the Museum has launched an initiative to holistically transform its digital presence, bringing its wealth of WWII content to more people and reinforcing its role as a historical authority. This initiative includes development of a reimagined Museum website, a new and integrated digital collections experience, a centralized online content hub for K-12 educational resources, a modernized digital WWII encyclopedia as well as an improved online ticketing experience, technology and security upgrades, enhanced online giving functionality, and more. With nearly every Museum department involved in this digital transformation initiative, the Project Manager will help coordinate assignments and reviews across all stakeholders, ensuring positive progress toward our goals. Responsibilities will include participating in meetings with project vendors and relaying updates to colleagues; developing timelines and project plans; assigning tasks to colleagues; monitoring progress toward project milestones; facilitating review/approval processes; and helping ensure that project goals, budgets, and deadlines are met
