Dining Attendant [Alexander's Restaurant, Part Time]
About The Position
This position is responsible for assisting the servers with every aspect of setup, service and breakdown. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assist in setup of side station to assure ease of service throughout the night. Serve water as guests are seated and throughout the meal. Assist servers with food running and course clearing. Provide bread service to guests using proper service techniques. Buss, re-linen and reset tables, including, but not limited to, wiping off seats, removing debris from floor and changing empty candle cartridges. Empty trash from dining room area after each shift and front office as needed. Keep ice bins filled and iced tea and fresh coffee made throughout the night. Help to run glasses through dishwasher and polish to remove any spots or streaks. Assist with polishing silverware and utensils to include, but not limited to the following: bread tongs, water/tea/coffee pitchers, bread trays and any stainless steel or silver serving instrument. Attend to special needs of management as business prescribes. All other duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
- Six months of dining room attendant experience preferred
- Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
