Requirements

3 years culinary related management experience within the healthcare and/or senior living environment required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
ServSafe Certification required.

Responsibilities

Provides day to day direction to Dining Services staff.
Plans, assigns and directs work while providing continuous coaching and mentoring on standards and policies.
Collaborates with the Dining Services General Manager to establish a standard staff schedule that adequately and cost efficiently staffs the kitchen and serving functions for daily operation.
Oversees food service in their designated area of operation including but not limited to ensuring that all meals are served at the proper temperature and are attractive/appetizing when served.
Conducts meet and greet sessions with all new residents.
Provides training and mentoring to Dining Services staff.
Acts as Manager on Duty as required.
