About The Position

Chief Buildings is seeking a Dip Tank Operator to join the Chief team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the dip tank system used in the surface preparation of metal building components. You’ll ensure proper handling and treatment of materials by performing regular checks, monitoring chemical levels, and maintaining equipment to meet quality and safety standards. To be successful in this position, you should be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment .

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proficient in safely operating overhead cranes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to comfortably and safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for dust, oil, rust, and other residues prior to painting.
• Maintain compliance with all quality control procedures and standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on assigned machines.
• Carry out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as top priorities.
• Proactively identify and address potential hazards in the work environment
