Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years prior relevant experience
  • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function.
  • Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with department heads, managers, coworkers, and vendors to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
  • Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within an automated system as well as a variety of software packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior management experience in healthcare environment preferred.
  • Related healthcare certification & licensure preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all financial documents and supporting records processed for billing.
  • Assists with hiring and oversight of the Lead financial record specialists and financial integrity specialist staff.
  • Tracks trends related to areas of opportunity related to efficiencies and timely billing document processing.
  • Partners with clinical operations and Sr. Director Medical Claims Review to report trends and areas of opportunity related to timely billing document processing.
  • Manages productivity of direct reports.
  • Spearheads interdepartmental partnerships to create further initiatives encouraging automation, efficiencies, and process improvements.
