Morgan Stanleys’ Global Voice Engineering team is looking for a Senior Trader Voice Engineer to join their accomplished and business critical team. Role & Responsibilities: · Required to create designs, and /or certify trader voice platforms enabling the firm to deploy nextgen Voice architectures. · Required to have extensive experience with trading floor environment and voice infrastructures including IPC Unigy, Speakerbus iSeries intercom, Nice voice recording, private wire technologies, hoot and holler infrastructure, trading floor voice API's, and SIP architecture. · Required to demonstrate capabilities of performing design evaluations/ certifications and lead the effort for strategic initiatives. Skills required: · Extensive experience in configuring, supporting, and fault diagnosis of IPC Unigy and associated backroom technology. · Familiarity with IPC Blue Wave API’s · Extensive experience in configuring, supporting, and fault diagnosis of Speakerbus iSeries SIP intercom and associated backroom technology. · Ability to configure and integrate voice systems with various monitoring systems such as Splunk and Spectrum · Extensive experience in configuring, supporting, and fault diagnosis of Nice NTR and NTRx voice recording. · Extensive experience with deploying carrier private wire solutions such as IPC Connexus Voice and Flexenet. · Experience with hoot and holler technologies including channel bank, IPC Open Connection, Cisco dial peers, and SIP IP hoot bridges. · Ability to understand Application Programming Interfaces as they relate to trading floor voice CRM applications is a plus. · Ability to lead product evaluations of new trading floor voice technologies. · Wireshark knowledge and skills are essential. · Experience with PBX vendors such as Avaya Communication Manager, Avaya Session Manager, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and Cisco Session Management Edition is a plus. · Extensive knowledge of the SIP protocol · Working knowledge of the H323 protocol suite · Working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite · Working knowledge of API’s · Any background knowledge of Data network infrastructures & components including quality of service standards, deployments & support would be beneficial. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
