Develops, implements, and maintains the activities of quality control systems. Oversees development and implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products. Develops a budget and monitors expenditures. Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications. Ensures finished products conform to government and company standards and satisfy Good Manufacturing Practices regulations. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Cross-functional leader of the quality business process health, execution, and effectiveness between the customer, field, and factory resources. Drives the accountability and governance of the extended and distributed quality organization to meet annual operating plan objectives and customer expectations. Ownership of the customer executive-level escalation process, execution, resolution, and accountability within the field and factory to meet the needs of our customers. Serves as the central resource and escalation point where guidance and/or conflict resolution is required to achieve efficient operational execution while delivering on quality objectives. Recognized as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all facets of the quality business processes end-to-end and partners with the factory and field in discovery of opportunities for business process and system improvements.
