About The Position
Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Direct Care Workers in the Butler area. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for over 100 years by “helping individuals and families with life's changing needs”. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. Position Summary: The Caregiver provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. Improves the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community. Staff members assist with personal care, shopping, cleaning, meal preparation, activities, outings, doctors appointments (only using the agency vehicle to transport). This full-time position works a schedule of various hours and various days. Overtime opportunities available!
Requirements
- 18 yrs. or older
- Ability to lift 200 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
