About The Position
Direct Support Professional Day Services- Halfmoon Please submit an updated resume so that we can pay you for your experience! Are you an energetic DSP that enjoys site and community based work? If so Wildwood Wants you! We are looking for a direct support professional to help promote independence and self-esteem to persons with disabilities in a Dayhab program site and community based setting. Our Day Services program provides individuals the opportunity to participate in a variety of group activities throughout the day at a site or in the community. Successful candidates will have: The ability to interact with our individuals in a positive and encouraging way. A professional manner, patience, empathy and possess a strong desire to help others. An interest in taking an active role in by introducing individuals to community based and site-based activities that inspire growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid NYS license and clean driving record.
- Computer Skills: able to use email; google suite; database systems
- A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
- Daily access to a vehicle.
- Ability to pass SCIP/CPR
- Ability to Lift 50 lbs
