Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
  • At least one year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
  • Strong understanding of cognitive, social, and physical support needs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide hands-on assistance
  • Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
  • Must pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening
  • Parc is a Drug-Free Workplace
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Parc-approved behavior support certifications (training provided)
  • Completion and maintenance of Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certification
  • Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse (Learn more at info.flclearinghouse.com)

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility
  • Encourage independence through meaningful engagement and daily routines
  • Follow individualized care plans to ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life
  • Support community outings and appointments
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated, mission-driven team
