BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We are PART-TIME and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Erie County, PA. We are needing compassionate and reliable DSPs to work 2:1 with a female client in West Erie, PA: Friday evenings Saturday days Sunday days Every other weekend is possible Must be experienced with behaviors Must be able to transport for community activities How You’ll Make an Impact: Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community Accompany clients on errands and appointments Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization As an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider, BAYADA complies with all state/local mandates. Requirements

One year or more experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
Ability to transport clients to community activities
Must be experienced with behaviors

Responsibilities

Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
Accompany clients on errands and appointments
Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization
