About The Position
AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT for Full and Part -Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for our Manhattan ICF residence . PAY RATE : $20.60-$20.96 per hour depending on Driving status. DATE & TIME : THURSDAY February 5th, 2026 from 10AM-1PM LOCATION : Recruiter will provide Hiring Event specific address for qualified candidates. POSITION TO BE FILLED: 40hr Evening shift: 2pm-10pm....Driver's license Required 40hr Weekday Overnight shift: 10pm -8am...Monday through Thursday nights. 30hr Weekend Overnight shift: 10pm-8am...Friday through Sunday nights Drivers license NOT required for overnight shifts! Requirements
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills.
- Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED, highly preferred.
Nice To Haves
