What You'll Be Doing As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will work one-on-one with children and young adults in their homes and out in the community. Your support can help them: Practice everyday routines and life skills Build confidence and independence Improve communication and social interaction Stay safe during community activities Work through behaviors and emotions with support and consistency Some days that may look like helping with a routine at home.
