Your day as a Direct Support Provider Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Wee Care Corp is seeking a Direct Support Provider to assist a 12-year-old male in Gilbert, AZ, near the major cross streets of Riggs Rd and S. Adora Blvd. In this role, you will provide vital Respite, Attendant Care, and Habilitation Services, helping him to reach his full potential. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will implement tailored support plans, assisting with basic life skills, personal care, and companionship in community activities. This position offers a front-row seat to witness progress and growth as you guide individuals through their daily lives and support them in achieving their goals. What you need to be successful To thrive as a Direct Support Provider at Wee Care Corp, candidates must possess a unique blend of skills and certifications. A Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance is essential, along with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Successful DSPs should be motivated individuals committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others, demonstrating a genuine desire to support individuals in reaching their full potential. Essential training includes CPR and First Aid certification, Article 9 certification, and an Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate, while experience in behavioral support training is highly valued. Furthermore, fostering self-esteem and serving as an advocate for our members are crucial components of this role. Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred, as it equips candidates with the empathy and understanding necessary to provide compassionate support in various settings.

Requirements

Must possess or be able to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid drivers license
Must possess or be able to attend training for: CPR and First Aid certification
Must possess or be able to attend training for: Article 9 certification
Must possess or be able to attend training for: Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate
Behavioral Support Training
Must be motivated to make a positive impact in the lives of others
