About The Position

Directional Drilling Operator/Locator/Laborer needed. Heimes Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to assist crews in directional drilling work to place fiber optic and coax underground. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Heimes Corp. provides a wide range of services including but not limited to: Excavating, Underground Utilities, Recycled Concrete, Plumbing, Directional Drilling, Fiber Splicing, Underground Storage Tanks, Wrecking, Transportation, and Hazardous Materials Cleanup/Hauling (ESI). Immediate Full time position for Directional Drilling Operators, locators, and laborers with experience who will operate equipment, locate, and assist in Fiber Optic and Coax installation. Job is physically intense and requires shoveling, bending, stooping, and carrying over 50lbs. Commercial Class A CDL preferred with tanker endorsement (not required). A valid driver's license with a clean record is a necessity. Experience on Vermeer 20x22 machine also preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations. Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices). We utilize the E-Verify system for employment eligibility. For construction safety reasons applicant must speak and understand the English language. Pay varies depending on previous experience.
