Job Details Cleveland Clinic's Diagnostic Institute is currently seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner for a full time Director Advanced Practice Provider. The Diagnostics Institute APP Director provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging services. This role ensures safe, high‑quality procedural, consultative, and longitudinal care delivered by APPs within IR suites, imaging centers, inpatient services, remote, telehealth teams and regional hospitals. The Director oversees workforce planning, competency development, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration to support exceptional patient care, streamlined workflows, and alignment with Diagnostic Institute business and transformation goals. The ideal candidate for the Diagnostics APP Director role is a seasoned, highly skilled advanced practice leader who demonstrates clinical excellence, operational acumen, and the ability to build strong interdisciplinary partnerships within a complex imaging environment. They are an advocate for APP practice, a collaborator to physicians, and a strategic thinker capable of elevating the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care across both Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology. Reporting to the Vice President, Advanced Practice Providers, leads the Advanced Practice Providers for multiple specialties or service lines within the Institute, Hospital or Sub-market. May hold other positions within the organization simultaneously, serving in multiple leadership roles. Responsible for team performance and attainment of OKRs. Coordinates efforts with leadership (clinical and administrative) to ensure staffing and patient standard of care.
