About The Position

Provides strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and administration of employee compensation programs across the Health System.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8–12 years compensation experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • CCP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains compensation philosophy and salary structure framework.
  • Oversees job evaluation, market pricing, and internal equity practices.
  • Leads annual compensation planning cycle.
  • Designs and administers incentive programs for leadership and operational roles (excluding physicians/APPs).
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and alignment with performance outcomes.
  • Conducts labor market benchmarking and pay equity analysis.
  • Provides compensation analytics to HR and executive leadership.
  • Ensures compliance with wage and hour laws.
  • Establishes and governs compensation policies and pay practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Maintains documentation and approval controls for compensation actions.
  • Participates in Labor Management meetings, and represents Human Recourses and Compensation in other organizational committees/meetings.
  • Direct supervision of Compensation Analysts.
  • Serves as compensation subject matter expert to senior leaders.
