Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred;
  • 5+ years of direct experience building data centers;
  • 10+ years of construction management experience on large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical facilities;
  • Proven experience managing hyperscale or large enterprise data center construction projects with substantial capital budgets;
  • Demonstrated experience managing external general contractors and subcontractors;
  • Experience leading and managing construction teams across multiple project sites.
  • Frequent travel required to project sites across the United States.
  • Strong expertise in large-scale construction project execution and delivery;
  • Excellent leadership, contractor management, and stakeholder communication skills;
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and risk management;
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and delivery of hyperscale data center construction projects across multiple U.S. locations;
  • Oversee all phases of construction including mobilization, structural development, systems integration, and project completion;
  • Ensure consistent construction practices, standards, and processes across all project sites.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Construction Site Managers responsible for day-to-day site operations;
  • Provide direction, performance management, and support to ensure effective project execution;
  • Establish clear reporting structures, accountability, and communication across construction teams.
  • Manage and coordinate external general contractors, subcontractors, and construction partners;
  • Ensure contractors meet contractual obligations, safety requirements, and project milestones;
  • Conduct regular site reviews and construction meetings to monitor performance and progress.
  • Drive projects to completion on schedule, budget, and scope;
  • Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies;
  • Maintain detailed reporting on project status, milestones, costs, and timelines.
  • Enforce the highest standards for construction quality, safety compliance, and regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and industry best practices;
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all construction sites.
  • Work closely with internal teams including engineering, procurement, operations, and executive leadership;
  • Provide regular progress updates and project reporting to the President of the division;
  • Coordinate commissioning activities and final handover of completed facilities to operations teams.
