The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, hereinafter, Director, is responsible for developing strategies and successfully securing gifts from corporations and foundations for the University. Over the past five years the CFR fundraising program has grown from raising $3.3M annually to more than $4M annually. Our goal is to continue that growth to upwards of $5M annually and the Director is responsible for leading this effort and in many cases serving as the point person for the majority of these gift agreements. Accordingly, the Director will design and execute a corporate and foundation relations plan that is both strategic and reflects the best practices of the profession. He/She will provide oversight of the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of all corporate and foundation prospects. This includes developing strategies that match University needs with corporate and foundation interests, establishing and maintaining donor relationships, managing and submitting letters of inquiry and preparing proposals and stewardship reports. The Director will manage a personal portfolio of corporate and foundation donors.
