About The Position

Entegra is seeking a Director of Culinary Services. The primary function of the Culinary Services Director is to deliver culinary solutions that drive client and consumer satisfaction while supporting profitable growth. This role provides strategic culinary consulting to operator clients and suppliers, leads innovation initiatives, and ensures the successful execution of culinary programs across the organization. The candidate must reside in close proximity to Richmond, VA.

Requirements

  • Strong culinary knowledge and skills
  • Proven culinary leadership experience within foodservice, hospitality, contract dining, or multi-unit operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, teachable insights.
  • Excellent client-facing presentation skills, including the ability to deliver engaging culinary demonstrations and professional PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial considerations when developing culinary solutions, ensuring recommendations support both guest satisfaction and profitability.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years of experience in operations, marketing, or a related field.

  • Distributor sales or food brokerage background preferable

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the segment SME for creative culinary food solutions that will exceed consumer and client expectations.
  • Provide strategic culinary consulting to operator clients to enhance menu development, operational efficiency, and overall dining experience.
  • Develop and implement culinary solutions that support client satisfaction, consumer engagement, and profitable growth
  • Lead and participate in operator and corporate culinary initiatives, including menu innovation, product evaluations, and culinary program development.
  • Leverage leading foodservice research platforms (including Technomic and Datassential) to track emerging industry trends and provide quarterly analysis and actionable insights to clients.
  • Lead product cuttings and culinary innovation sessions, presenting recipes and product recommendations that support client menu development and business objectives.
  • Ensure the Culinary Consulting team consistently delivers high-quality consulting services, actionable insights, and measurable client outcomes.
