About The Position

This position is based on our incredible world-wide campus in Beaverton, OR. The work week is Mondays-Thursdays in the office and Fridays are optional based in your home office. You are instrumental in developing and delivering the best creative on behalf of Nike; playing a pivotal role through concept development to land on an idea that can be beautifully realized. You have outstanding communication skills and thrive under pressure. Embracing change and knowing when and where to be flexible, you are an invaluable partner to your creative and cross-functional teammates. You are naturally curious and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You lead yourself and others with great ambition, knowing when and how to masterfully push the boundaries of what’s possible. You come with a wealth of experience from the creative industry; in which you have built robust relationships with established and emerging talent over the years. You are a master briefer and know the exact nuances needed to set external creative partners up for success. You have a wealth of experience leading large, multi-million-dollar productions across various mediums, both physical and digital. Whether it’s content creation, on the ground activations, or physical build outs, you thrive in leading others through the peaks and valleys of the creative process. You have expert knowledge of your team, resources and surroundings to land the best creative. No matter the project at hand, you nurture creativity and cultivate collaboration with any person/team you partner with, as you bring our ideas to life. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Deep knowledge and passion for creativity, sports, and culture
  • Proven experience leading large multi-million-dollar productions across multiple mediums (For example: print, broadcast, still, AV, digital and experiential)
  • Proven experience directing a creative agency or other in-house creative teams
  • Experience leading productions with elite athletes and celebrities
  • Proven experience leading a project team through complex production
  • Proven experience driving innovation and implementing new ways of working within a creative team
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to be a leader, strong team player, and collaborator
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator and strategic thinker that can simplify complex information
  • Proven experience managing complex timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment with multiple business functions and senior stakeholders, cutting through the noise to challenge business priorities and delivering the best creative work products possible
  • Proven experience leading producers with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals
  • Confidence in driving and leading difficult conversations and negotiations
  • Travel up to / approximately 30% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Key partner to the Senior Creative Director
  • Developing and pitching project concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Securing funding and managing large production budgets
  • Overseeing contract negotiations with talent, crew, and vendors
  • Leading the creative direction through production while maintaining the project's vision
  • Building, optimizing, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Deep connection to the creative industry and an up-to-date point of view of industry trends
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing talent within the production team
