The Director, Enterprise PMO is accountable for predictable delivery outcomes across assigned programs and portfolios. This role leads delivery execution through people managers by setting clear expectations, enabling strong manager ownership, and enforcing consistent PMO standards across the organization. The Director ensures scope, schedule, budget, and risk are actively managed through disciplined leadership layers, fact-based reporting, and timely escalation. The Director directly manages people managers and is accountable for manager effectiveness, operational discipline, governance compliance, and delivery performance across the PMO. The role owns PMO operating rhythm, portfolio visibility, resource allocation, and executive communications, ensuring the PMO delivers measurable business value and supports enterprise strategy across SHI Services.

  • 5+ years in PMO, program, or portfolio leadership roles

  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
  • Ability to travel 25%

Responsibilities

  • Leads delivery execution across programs and projects by setting clear expectations and reinforcing ownership at every leadership layer.
  • Accountable for predictable delivery outcomes across the portfolio by ensuring managers have clarity, capacity, and decision authority.
  • Directs delivery of strategic, high-impact programs aligned to enterprise objectives.
  • Designs, enforces, and evolves PMO governance frameworks, reporting standards, and operating cadence.
  • Enforces RAID discipline by inspecting manager execution, validating risk signals, and ensuring standards are applied consistently.
  • Oversees scope management across the PMO and controls change through formal governance.
  • Manages enterprise and portfolio-level risks, develops mitigation strategies, and reports risk posture to executive leadership.
  • Directly manages people managers, develops leadership capability, and reinforces accountability for outcomes.
  • Builds high-performing PMO teams, develops talent pipelines, and implements succession planning.
  • Oversees day-to-day stakeholder relationships through managers and ensures consistent, fact-based delivery messaging.
  • Acts as the primary escalation point for high-impact delivery risks and supports effective issue resolution.
  • Communicates PMO priorities, operating plans, and performance updates to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Leads cross-functional and senior-leader forums to drive alignment, decisions, and execution.
  • Oversees PMO structure and resource allocation to optimize capacity and enterprise impact.
  • Manages PMO and program budgets, forecasts financial performance, and ensures fiscal discipline.
  • Champions adoption of best practices and drives continuous improvement across PMO processes, tools, and standards.
  • Leads large-scale change initiatives and ensures successful adoption across the organization.
