About The Position

As the Director, Enterprise Technology employee satisfaction with QTS’ IT is your mission. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, planning, execution, and support of QTS's enterprise applications portfolio. You will lead, mentor, and set the strategy for three teams: Enterprise IT (responsible for end user support, laptops, mobile devices, AV, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem), the ServiceNow team and associated SDLC, and a business application support team. You will also collaborate with other IT leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment of enterprise applications with QTS's business goals, IT strategy, and industry best practices. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned. Develop and implement a vision and roadmap for enterprise applications that supports QTS's growth, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives. Create the next generation interface for employees to interact with IT; comfort with deploying/integrating AI and LLM’s is a must Manage the delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, security, and user satisfaction. Oversee the governance, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and integration of enterprise applications. Establish and enforce standards, policies, procedures, and best practices for enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with QTS's internal controls, audit requirements, and industry regulations. Manage the budget, resources, vendors, and contracts related to enterprise applications, ensuring optimal utilization, cost-effectiveness, and value delivery. Lead, coach, and develop a team of talented and motivated IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and customer service. Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, understanding their needs, expectations, and feedback, and ensuring alignment of enterprise applications with business priorities and objectives. Ensure that all new applications to the QTS suite of tools are inventoried and referenceable. Partner with lines of business on identifying use cases and requirements and assisting them with finding the right tool and process for the job Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the enterprise applications domain, and evaluate their applicability and potential benefits for QTS. Provide strategic guidance, thought leadership, and subject matter expertise to senior management and other IT leaders. Take QTS’ IT to the next level while providing coaching and mentoring to reporting managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in managing enterprise applications, preferably in a data center or managed service provider environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading and managing teams of IT professionals, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and development.
  • Knowledge and Expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies, including administration, configuration, integration, migration, and security.
  • Familiarity with in ServiceNow platform, including development, customization, implementation, and support of various modules and applications.
  • Experience in managing various business applications, such as ERP, CRM, BI, HRIS, etc., preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Experience in applying agile methodologies, tools, and practices to enterprise applications development and delivery.
  • Experience in managing vendors, contracts, and service level agreements for enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and integration principles and practices for enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security, compliance, and risk management standards and frameworks for enterprise applications.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs and objectives into technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with senior management, business stakeholders, IT peers, and team members.
