Based in the heart of Texas, we are a fast-growing leader in home improvement specializing in energy-efficient windows, doors, bath and shower remodels, and cabinet refacing. As we expand our footprint across the Texas markets and beyond, we’re looking for a passionate, strategic leader to take our field marketing efforts to the next level. We are seeking an experienced Director of Field Marketing to lead and scale our Events and Canvassing programs. This role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and performance of all face-to-face marketing initiatives aimed at driving qualified leads and brand visibility in key markets. This is a high-impact leadership position suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement field marketing strategies that support aggressive lead generation and market growth goals.
  • Manage and mentor Field Marketing Managers across multiple territories including DFW and West Texas.
  • Own the strategy and execution of local events — including home shows, community expos, retail activations, and brand partnerships.
  • Optimize the canvassing program through data-driven territory planning, team performance coaching, and KPI tracking.
  • Align closely with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure field efforts translate into sales-ready leads and measurable revenue.
  • Build training programs and standard operating procedures that improve productivity and consistency across all field teams.
  • Foster a 'promote-from-within' culture by developing clear growth paths from entry-level roles (Canvassing/Events) to mentorship, leadership, and advancement into Inside or Outside Sales and other key positions across the organization.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and ROI — adjusting tactics based on insights.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage the field marketing budget and oversee efficient resource allocation.
  • Stay ahead of home improvement marketing trends and competitor strategies to keep Expo Home Improvement at the forefront.
  • Uphold company values, drive team culture, and ensure full compliance with internal policies and brand standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a senior-level field marketing role, preferably within home improvement, retail, or a face-to-face lead generation environment.
  • Proven success in managing events and canvassing teams across multiple markets.
  • Track record of hiring, training, and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with CRM, field tracking tools, and data analysis platforms.
  • Budget management expertise with a focus on ROI and cost efficiency.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across markets and be hands-on at key events.
  • Weekend availability and reliable transportation required.
