You will establish centralized shared service functions over Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Travel & Entertainment expenses and any future identified finance shared service activities, including developing service level agreement and key performance metrics for North America and Corporate business units. You will also provide leadership to shared services teams and consistent communication with Finance leadership and drive process automation and standardization across all shared service functions. Additionally, you will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and transaction processing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of varied and progressive experience in the fields of Accounting and Finance. and public accounting experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance leadership/management role
  • Experience implementing and managing a shared services team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience working with a variety of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and US GAAP compliance requirements
  • Demonstrates unwavering integrity and a strong commitment to customer service, quality, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Strong project management skills, together with the ability to support multiple business initiatives ongoing simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication skills across all levels and functions, both internally and externally
  • Builds strong internal partnerships and cultivates a robust external professional network
  • Solid change management skills with ability to adapt within the organization
  • Ability to build strong relationships across disciplines throughout the entire company

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Epicor and/or Microsoft Business Central preferred

Responsibilities

  • Designs and establishes solid processes, structure and systems to standardize shared service functions across business units to drive improved efficiency, automation and support growth
  • Identifies and implements process improvement activities across all shared service functions
  • Analyzes transactional data, financial reports and overall processes to identify variances, trends, efficiency/cost savings opportunities and develop action plans to address
  • Collaborates with Finance teams to establish, communicate, and maintain the Company’s Finance and Accounting policies, procedures, narratives and internal controls over shared service functions
  • Establishes service level agreements and key metrics for monitoring performance of shared services teams, sets team goals and drives achievement
