The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis leads the New York Genome Center’s (NYGC) budgeting and financial analysis function, setting the strategic direction for budgeting, forecasting, and organizational performance management. This is a one-person FP&A function responsible for developing and executing organization-wide financial plans, ensuring alignment with NYGC’s strategic goals, and supporting executive leadership in data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role works closely with department heads, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors to guide financial strategy, resource allocation, and long-term financial sustainability. NYGC is also open to considering highly motivated candidates at the Associate Director level who may not yet have full leadership experience in FP&A but demonstrate strong interest, aptitude, and potential to grow into the role.
